First prize at Kangasniemi Singing Competition!

Iida was awarded first prize at Kangasniemi Singing Competition in Finland! The competition took place in Kangasniemi on July 15th-16th 2017. During the weekend, each contestant performed 3 opera arias and 3 songs, including a song from a contemporary Finnish composer. Among other pieces, Iida had chosen in her program “Kennst du das Land” by Hugo Wolf and the grand aria “Tanti affetti in tal momento” from Rossini’s opera La Donna del Lago. Other prize winners were Johanna Isokoski and Johanna Lehesvuori.
