The 2018-2019 season has just been announced at the Finnish National Opera, and Iida is involved in two productions.
The FNO production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera musical has sold out performances both in Helsinki and in Gothenburg, and Iida will be taking on the main female role, Christine Daaé, as the production returns to the National Opera in November 2018.
In February 2019, she will sing the role of Crobyle in Nicola Raab’s lush production of Massenet’s Thaïs, conducted by Patrick Fournillier.
